Would people really buy Visa if it weren’t for his voiceovers? Not only is Lenny an actor, but a highly successful recording artist in the hard rock music genre. You will identify with the hero and won’t give up!
Morgan Freeman is, in my opinion, one of the best actors of his generation. I may even go on to say he is one of the greatest actors of all time. Not to mention the fact that he is probably the best narrator of all time. I mean, that voice! Would people really buy Visa if it weren’t for his voiceovers?
Oprah is preparing for her big trip to Australia. The talk show queen is taking 300 people, from the studio audience of the season premiere show, along on a trip to Australia. Oprah reported that she has never been to Australia and loves to do things in a big way.
Turturro: Yeah, from the late 1800s. One is from 1200, “The Song of the Washerwomen (“Canto delle Lavandaie del Vomero”) shot in the Roman aqueduct. That one is by an anonymous author. And there is a song that is considered to be the first Neapolitan popular song. The lyrics are very simple. We went back and forth, should we say this is the first Neapolitan song. We decided to edit that into the DVD and the CD instead.
While they are not my personal favorite films, I do think you have to give credit to the Men In Black movies. These movies have grossed so much money that it cannot be ignored. A third installment is on the way as well.
One director who has been quietly putting out great movies without getting much recognition until recently is Danny Boyle. Danny Boyle finally 12 years a slave awards years a slave awards for Best Director, as well as Best Picture, for Slumdog Millionaire.
Tin Cup- In one of his best performances, Costner plays golfer Roy “Tin Cup” McAvoy. McAvoy is a driving range pro with little ambition in the beginning of the film. McAvoy’s “quest” in the film is to win the U.S. Open and win the heart of Dr. Molly Griswold, played by Rene Russo. Tin Cup is an inspirational underdog story with several funny moments. The unexpected ending of the story makes it unique among underdog films. Tin Cup is also by far the best film ever made about golf.
These are just some of the best directors in the game right now. As long as they continue to make movies, we’ll have great films for years and years to come.
