She’s vi brant and alive, when she hits that concert stage, it is pure magic. High Noon – If you haven’t seen this classic, you may end up injuring yourself from running too long. Here is another song written specifically for the film.
While the media chooses to idolize movie stars and praise their great work, some of the people that should be getting more love are the directors. After all, it is the director that brings everything together. You can have an incredible actor with an incredible script, but when it comes to making a movie, the director has to be on point.
Another director that must be mentioned in any combination of directors is obviously James Cameron. The man has put out some of the most iconic movies of all time, not to mention the top two highest grossing films of all time, Titanic and Avatar. If you haven’t seen Avatar, you are missing out.
Not only did this opening theme song for two separate films start off the rock and roll revolution, as well as the rock music genre, it was also the forerunner to hearing a song from a movie on a Top 40 radio program or radio station. Once you hear this song you will instantly recognize it as a pivotal song of rock and roll. This is not only the ultimate golf movie it is probably one of the funniest movies ever made. I rarely hang out and play golf with my buddies without somebody goofing off and quoting this film.
The Marx Brothers at their best. The clown princes are unleashed on a campus as they try to win a big college football game. It is beyond funny and probably one of The Marx Brothers best films.
I also have to mention Lawrence of Arabia. Peter O’Toole stars as P.E. Lawrence in this film about a controversial British military figure and his inner conflicts during war. This film is the definition of a classic.
